Starting from the autumn term of 2025, we are looking for a teacher for teaching English and Physical Education at Taserudsgymnasiet in Arvika.

The school is one of two municipal high schools in Arvika and has about 430 students distributed across eight national vocational programs as well as introductory programs. We work for good well-being and a sense of community for both students and staff, and we conduct education in close collaboration with the local business community.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be teaching English and Physical Education. You will be part of a team in a national program and have mentorship for a class. Your tasks will include supporting students as well as having regular contact with their guardians and other staff at the school.

Qualifications

You are a qualified and certified high school teacher in the subjects of Physical Education and English. We consider it an advantage if you have teaching experience, especially at the high school level. To succeed in this role, you have good collaboration skills, are self-driven, and see the value in creating good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. For us, your personal qualities are important; we see that you are flexible and creative with a structured approach to work. You have good pedagogical insight, take initiative, and are solution-focused. You have good digital competence and see development as a natural part of your work.

A B driver's license is required.
